NSW HEALTH AND SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE TRAINING
Health and safety representative (HSR) training provides you with the foundation and support required to be an active health and safety representative. This training covers the duties and responsibilities of PCBU’s, officers, workers and all parties as required under the Work Health and Safety Act.
This course also examines the requirements for the formation of workgroups and Safety Committees outlined within the act and provides a summary of communication and consultation processes required.
The following items are also covered in our training:
- Breaches and PIN (Provisional Improvements Notices)
- Rights and Entitlements
- Identification and resolution of WHS issues including use of the Hierarchy of controls
- Risk Management process
- Contributing to the risk management framework of an organisation
Delivery
HSR Training is delivered over five days with the content of each day building on the previous. Below is an overview of the five-day program. This course can be completed face to face over a 5 day block or 1 day over a 5 month period depending on your needs.
