Refund Policy for Short Courses

Course fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment. Please refer to our enrolment link(s) for payment methods. Be trained by Barringtons accepts payment using credit or debit cards.

Rescheduling

Students may reschedule a short course prior to commencement if at least 2 days’ notice (excluding weekends and public holidays) is provided. Otherwise, an enrolment deferment fee may apply. 

Refunds

For students enrolled in Fee for Service training (Short Courses/Workshops), refunds are available based on the timing of the Withdrawal and Refund Request submission:

  • 7 days or more before the course start date: 100% refund
  • Within 6 to 2 days before the course start date: 50% refund
  • Within 2 days before the course start date: No refund

Student Fees Policy

If you reside in New South Wales (NSW), you may qualify for a subsidised training course through the NSW Smart and Skilled program.

Smart and Skilled is a funding initiative by the NSW Government designed to assist individuals in obtaining qualifications in high-demand skills and industries. This program provides eligible students with financial support for courses in targeted priority areas.

Be Trained is an approved provider of training for eligible students in New South Wales under the Smart and Skilled funding program.

At Be Trained, we aim to provide a rewarding learning experience, but we recognise that issues may arise. If you have a concern, please reach out to your Trainer or our Training Administration Team first. They will work with you to resolve the issue quickly and informally. If the problem is not resolved, you can utilise our formal complaints process. For more details, please refer to our Complaints and Appeals Policy , which outlines how we manage and address student complaints.
