Course Overview
This bespoke two-day program is part of our ClubAdvanced Suite and is designed to strengthen the skills and confidence of HR managers and leaders working within NSW clubs. Focused on real-world application, the training equips participants with the knowledge and tools to manage core HR functions effectively and compliantly.
Through practical sessions, case studies, and mock interviews, attendees will gain hands-on experience in key areas such as recruitment, performance management, and navigating recent legislative changes.

Duration: 2 day course (7 hours per day)

Audience
This training is ideal for leaders and HR coordinators in hospitality venues who oversee compliance, performance management, and recruitment. The program is designed to equip participants with the practical skills and knowledge needed to lead teams confidently while ensuring alignment with current legislative requirements.

Course Information
This training is ideal for leaders and HR coordinators in hospitality venues who oversee compliance, performance management, and recruitment. The program is designed to equip participants with the practical skills and knowledge needed to lead teams confidently while ensuring alignment with current legislative requirements.
No prior learning is required to participate in this program.
Students are asked to bring a laptop or tablet and charger for use during the training. If you do not have access to a suitable device, please speak with our team during the enrolment process to discuss alternative arrangements.
This qualification will be delivered through face-to-face workshops.
2 days (7 hours per day)
Key topics include but are not limited to:
- understand and implement compliance requirements and performance management best practices
- gain knowledge or recent industrial relations (IR) changes and how to adapt to them
- develop effective recruitment, selection and onboarding processes
- utilise AI tools in recruitment and understand their impact on the hiring process
- enhance communication and onboarding strategies to improve employee retention

While this course is not nationally accredited, students will receive a Certificate of Completion to acknowledge their learning and support their professional development. For those who successfully complete both training days and the assessment, credit of work may be applied toward relevant qualifications or units when studying with Be Trained by Barringtons.
